Head Elementary Boys' Basketball Coach
Ron Bridgewater, coach to the 2009 Indiana Christian School Elementary Basketball Champions,
played college basketball at Cincinnati Christian University. Before coming to CCS, he coached 7 years in Jennings County and
has been the Head Elementary Coach for the last three years. His record for those three years is 63 wins and 16 losses.
His elementary team not only are the State Champions, but they have won the Crusader Classic two years straight, and have gone to
the final 4 twice. He is the head pastor for East Columbus Christian Church for since 2004.
Athletic Director and Head Varsity Boy's Basketball Coach
Kevin Roth has served as basketball coach at Columbus Christian for over
20 years. He began coaching the boys' elementary team and as the school began a junior high and high school program he moved
to that level as boys' varsity coach. Kevin has enjoyed the opportunity to develop strong relationships with the young men that
he has coached. He has especially enjoyed coaching both of his sons at CCS. Kevin also serves as the Athletic Director
for both the Elementary and Junior/Senior High School.
Assistant Varsity Coach
Ryan Roth carries on the family tradition of dedication to Crusader athletics. As an assistant Varsity
coach, Mr. Roth enjoys the time spent coaching with his father and coach, Kevin Roth, and his brother, Varsity team member, Kyle Roth.
Mr. Roth played basketball all 4 years of his high school career and was a part of the 2003 IHCS State Championship Basketball Team.
Head Junior Varsity Boys' Basketball Coach
Patrick Glasser has been involved with the Crusader basketball program since 2004, where
he served as elementary coach (2004-2006) and varsity assistant (2004 to present). Before joining the Crusader staff Patrick
played college basketball at Cincinnati Christian University. Patrick is currently the head junior varsity coach (2006
to present). Patrick is also the Youth Minister at East Columbus Christian Church where he has served since 2004.
Assistant Junior Varsity Coach
Clint Moore became the assistant junior varsity coach in 2008. He previously played for
the Crusader varisty team. Clint brings player experience and enthusiasm to the team.
Assistant Junior Varsity Coach
Matt Bond has been the Junior High Coach since 2001. He was also the JV coach for 5 years.
In 2002, he coached the Crusaders to victory at the Crusader Classic and in 2003 the Junior Varsity was Conference Champions.
This year he is an Assistant Varsity Coach, Assistant Junior Varsity Coach, Assistant Athletic Director (2004-present) and Head Statistician.
Mr.Bond is married to Gwen Bond, the first grade teacher.
Head Junior High Boys' Basketball Coach
Kendal Wildey brings 13 years of varsity coaching experience to CCS. He served as head
coach at Waldron H.S. (1987-1990), Rushville H.S. (1990-1991) and Jennings County H.S. (1991-2000). Coach Wildey has been named
the Hoosier Basketball Coach-of-the-Year, Hoosier Hills Conference Coach-of-the-Year and most recently the Indiana Basektball Coaches'
Association Administrator-of-the-Year. He has also coached HBCA East/West All-Star team and the IBCA North/South All-Stars.
He currently serves as the Hoosier Basketball Coaches' Association Executive Director.
Assistant Elementary Coach
Todd Noblitt has been the Assistant Elementary Basketball Coach since 2005. He has helped lead the
Crusaders to the 2009 State Championship through his affirming coaching technique and previous basketball experience.
Assistant Elementary Coach
Mr. Thornburg joined the Elementary Basketball Coaching staff in 2008 and was an intregal part of the 2009
State Championship. He freely gave of his experience in basketball to all the members of the Elementary team and helped lead
the Crusaders to their 2009 State Championship.
Golf Coaches
Long supporters of the CCS athletic program, Joe and Orletta Roth have worked in many capacities. Along with
managing the concessions at games, they also are the coaches for the High School golf team.
Head Elementary Girls' Basketball Coach
Jamey Reed formed the Elementary Girls' Basketball team in 2008. He and Coach Kelsch
had a successful first season.
