Junior/Senior High History:
Finding God's Truths in the History of His People
History began with Adam and Eve. It has
continued through Noah, Moses, Jesus Christ, Ponce de Leon, the Crusades, Christopher Columbus, Civil War, WWI, WWII, the
Cold War and our recent historic election of Barak Obama. At Columbus Christian we believe geography, world cultures, and
the past are important to study in order to teach our students how to make a better future by analyzing the mistakes
and accomplishments of those who came before us.
Ryan Roth has enjoyed making the transition from student to teacher at Columbus Christian. After graduating in 2003 as a member
of the first graduating class of CCS High School, he attended Olivet Nazarene University where he majored in history and political
science and was a member of the 2006 study abroad delegration to Oxford University in the U.K. Mr. Roth graduated in 2007 with
a Bachelors of Arts degree and has since returned to Columbus to teach social sciences. He considers it a great honor to
teach at Columbus Christian and looks forward to the continued success of the school and its students.
