Sixth Grade:
Preparing for the Future of Junior High

The sixth grade at Columbus Christian is full of exciting challenges. Students are transitioning physically, academically, emotionally, and spiritually.  In all of these aspects, we give students opportunities for growth. Academically, we strive for turning in work on time that reflects the best of each student’s abilities.  We really work on developing responsible, integrity-filled learners.  In addition, we strive for students who treat themselves, teachers, and one another with respect because God’s character is respectful.  Finally, we are excited to help students transition from having the faith of their families to embracing a faith of their own.  We accomplish this through weekly chapel, class devotions, Bible class, memorizing God’s word, and applying Scripture to real-life situations.  Our goal is to help students be Christ-like leaders to their classmates and others in their sphere of influence.

She taught in the public school system for five years working with special needs students. After staying home with her children for twelve years, Pam was called back to teaching at CCS in 2008. She loves being able to share her love for the lord with her students. Pam is married to Ty and they have two beautiful daughters, Rachel and Emily, who also attend CCS.
