Fifth Grade:
Furthering Goals through Academic Excellence

Fifth grade is yet another time of transition, where students learn to be more independent.  Homework is increased as students begin to prepare for their last years in elementary.  They are encouraged to begin daily study and reading habits as the children are asked to take more responsibility for their academic studies.
